Determine which model you have:
First, check the inside of your current extension for a label with a handwritten note indicating the model.
If no label is found, here’s how you can distinguish between the models:

M-1: Only used on boat number 01.
M-2: Fits boats with build numbers 2-40 and some of the boats between 41-63. If you’re onboard or have the previous extension, check the stainless-steel stud pattern on your boat.
See the illustration above for measurements between the 7 studs on the aft section for both Model M-2 and M-3. Boats with build numbers 41-63 should compare measurements for M-2 and M-3.
M-3: Fits boats with build numbers 64 to around 153. Check the stud pattern if you're onboard or have the previous extension. Refer to the illustration above for the distance between the 7 studs on the aft section.
M-4: Fits boats from build number 153 onward.
