Returning products
We adhere to the EU rules for returns on products ordered through our Webshop. This right to return products is applicable if you are a private consumer residing in any of the EU member states.
1. Exclusions
Certain items are excluded from our return policy, including special orders made specifically based on your request. Examples of such items are windscreens, sails, ports, skylights, and fitted sheets.

2. Condition of Returned Products
Products being returned must be in their original packaging and in unused condition. We do not accept returns for items that come in sealed packaging once the seal has been broken. Examples include CDs, DVDs, charting software including electronic charts, books, etc.
3. Used Products
Returns will not be accepted for products that have been used or show signs of wear.
4. How to Return Your Items
If you wish to exercise your right to return any goods, you must return the package to us within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Always contact us before sending a return and we will help you in the best way.
5. Returns and Shipping Costs
The return shipping costs are to be covered by you, the consumer. We strongly recommend that you use a traceable shipping service, as you are responsible for the package until it reaches Hallberg-Rassy Parts. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping, customs duties, and any additional fees.
Customers within the EU have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive. If you choose to return your order, a return fee equivalent to the original delivery cost will be charged. This fee covers the actual cost of the initial shipping and will be deducted from your refund. No additional handling or administrative fees will be applied.
Return shipping is handled and paid by the customer. Please ensure that the returned item is properly packaged and sent using a trackable shipping method. We do not accept returns sent with cash on delivery (COD).
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service within the withdrawal period. The product must be returned unused and in its original condition and packaging.
Customers outside the EU are not covered by the EU Consumer Rights Directive and therefore do not have an automatic right of withdrawal. However, we may accept returns at our discretion. If you wish to return an item, please contact our customer service within 14 days of receiving your order to inquire about eligibility.
If a return is approved, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping, customs duties, and any additional fees. Any original shipping costs will not be refunded.
6. Refund Process
Hallberg-Rassy Parts AB will process your refund within 30 days of receiving the returned goods. The refund will be issued in the same currency as the original invoice. Please note that Hallberg-Rassy Parts AB is not responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates or any bank fees incurred on the customer’s side.
When your return is handled we will charge a fee for handling and administration, the fee is the same value as the shipping cost.
